Course Map

The 5K Course is a 3.1 mile course around FVCC. Please note runners will run the green route until it intersects with the red. They will continue on the red for two loops and when the second loop of red is completed, you will join back up with the green path and head to the finish. 

There will be one water station along the course but runners will pass it twice! 

Packet Pick-Up

Girls who are currently participating in the program are already registered for the 5K and will receive their 5K materials (bibs, pins, goody bags) the morning of the event. For all other 5K participants (Running Buddies, coaches, family members and community participants), packet pick-up information is as follows: 


Packet pick-up will be from 11:00AM - 12:30PM at FVCC the morning of the race. Tents will be set up near the start line.

$15 per person before the event, increased on race day. $25 per person to run virtually! Sign up, we'll send you a shirt, and you can run/walk/jog from anywhere in the world while supporting us!

How long will the 5k run take?

Finishing times vary of course, though most runners will fall between 30-45 minutes. Participants are welcome to run, walk, skip, or dance. Come out to have fun! We will be sweeping the course at one hour from the starting time to ensure all runners have returned to the starting area.

Are there aid stations available?

Water will be available at the start. There will be one aid station available on the course but you will pass it TWICE while you run. Runners are also encouraged to bring water bottles along on the course. Additional water and snacks will be available at the finish line.

Where should I park?

Official event parking is provided in the parking lot of FVCC.

Can I bring my dog or pet?

For safety, all furry friends are not allowed on the course or at the event, so please leave all pets at home on 5K day! All pets will be asked to return to the pet owner's vehicle if spotted at the event.

Volunteer Today

Volunteers will help with 5K registration, assisting pre-registered runners and event day runners. This volunteer opportunity is best suited for individuals over 18 years of age.


Volunteers will help with logistics and operations. Potential responsibilities include: parking attendants, helping to distribute water to runners, assisting runners at the start line and on the course. These volunteer opportunities are best suited for adults, older teens and adult groups.


Volunteers will help assist coaches with their 5K materials. Assistance will also be needed with runner refreshments and medal distribution at the finish line, and at the information and merchandise tents. This volunteer opportunity is best suited for individuals over 18 years of age.
